Search for black-crowned night-herons results in a lifer

   Tonight in my search for the black-crowned night-herons that were reported at a nearby lake, I did not find the herons, but I did add a new bird to my life list- the chimney swift! That takes my life list tally up to 129. For those of you who don't know, chimney swifts are much like swallows in the way that they appear and fly. Posted below is very bad photo of a chimney swift in flight.
